My name is David, I am a psychologist from the Caribbean, born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago. I have completed a BSc Psychology from The University Of The West Indies and an MSc Clinical Psychology from Chinmaya University in Kochi, Kerala, India.

My Approach

I do not see mental health as the absence of suffering. Such views deny what it means to be a human. For me, true well-being is sustained by the capacity to honour, process and integrate the full spectrum of human experience. This approach is Client Centred and Existential by nature and helps to cultivate resilience, self-knowledge, continuous growth and a wholesome, meaningful life.

Cultural Perspective

Rooted in my Caribbean heritage, and enriched by my academic experiences in India, I recognise how cultural, historical, and spiritual contexts shape mental health. This perspective enables me to honour the diverse narratives of my clients and integrate them into the therapeutic process. By weaving contemporary psychology with culture, I cultivate an empathetic space where clients can safely explore their own journeys of healing and self-discovery
